Resilience Model of the Supply Chain in the Promotion of Health Tourism Services in Tehran Province

Abstract

Supply chain resilience is crucial in promoting health tourism services to ensure the availability and accessibility of healthcare facilities, transportation systems, and efficient collaboration among stakeholders. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the resilience of the supply chain in the promotion of health tourism services in Tehran. This research was done using content analysis method and interpretive structural modeling technique. In this way, the factors have been identified by content analysis and the interactions between these factors have been identified by the method of interpretive structural modeling. The method of content analysis and interpretative structural modeling is based on the opinion of experts, which in this research are tourism professors, tourism agencies, and doctors, 12 of whom were purposefully selected. The findings of the research indicate that the factors of using new technologies in the supply chain, developing an information system, establishing strategic relationships with suppliers, empowering and training personnel, upgrading communication infrastructure are the most fundamental factors affecting the resilience of the supply chain in the promotion of health tourism services in Tehran province.
